These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GradMig website at [gradmig.ca] (the “Site”) and the advisory and mentorship services offered through it (the “Services”). The Site and the Services are operated by Zaman Professional Services Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada, operating as “GradMig” (“GradMig”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the Site, booking a consultation, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.
1. Definitions
- “Advisor” means a scholar, researcher, professor, lecturer, or postgraduate mentor engaged by GradMig to provide mentorship and advisory support.
- “Client”, “you”, or “your” means any person who accesses the Site or engages the Services.
- “Consultation” means any booked session — one-on-one, group, or written review — between a Client and an Advisor.
- “Content” means all text, graphics, logos, articles, and other material made available on the Site.
2. Who We Are
GradMig is a scholar-led education and immigration advisory. Our Advisors are Master’s and PhD graduates, researchers, professors, and lecturers who have personally experienced global education and the Canadian study and immigration journey. We provide mentorship and guidance built on lived experience. We are registered in Ontario, Canada as Zaman Professional Services Inc.
3. Nature of Our Services
GradMig provides educational guidance, mentorship, and advisory support, which may include guidance on university and programme selection, application and statement-of-purpose preparation, document organisation, and general information about Canadian study permits, post-graduation work permits, and permanent residency pathways.
Mentorship, not procedural processing. Our value is informed, firsthand guidance. We help you understand your options and prepare strong applications; we do not complete, submit, or process applications on your behalf unless expressly agreed in a written engagement.
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Admission, scholarship, visa, permit, and immigration decisions are made solely by universities, government authorities, and other third parties over whom we have no control. GradMig does not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome, including admission, funding, the issuance of any permit or visa, or the grant of permanent residency. Any timelines we mention are estimates based on publicly available information and may change without notice.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province, territory, or country of residence to enter into these Terms. If you are a minor, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
6. Booking and Consultations
You may request a free initial consultation through the Site. Paid engagements, where applicable, are governed by the specific scope, fees, and terms set out in a separate written agreement or service confirmation provided to you. In the event of any conflict between such an agreement and these Terms, the written engagement agreement prevails for that engagement.
Rescheduling and cancellation arrangements, where they apply, will be set out in your engagement confirmation. Please give as much notice as possible if you cannot attend a booked session.
7. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. Our guidance is only as good as the information you give us, and misrepresentation to any institution or authority can have serious consequences for which you are solely responsible.
- Make your own decisions. You remain responsible for all decisions and submissions relating to your education and immigration journey.
- Use the Site lawfully — do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, scrape or copy Content for resale, or upload anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
- Keep any account or booking credentials confidential and notify us promptly of suspected misuse.
8. Intellectual Property
All Content on the Site — including the GradMig name, shield logo, wordmark, text, graphics, and the arrangement of the Site — is owned by or licensed to Zaman Professional Services Inc. and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property laws. You may view and print Content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission. Advisor names, photographs, and institutional affiliations appear only with the relevant individual’s consent and remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Confidentiality
We treat the personal and academic information you share with us as confidential and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We ask that you likewise treat any non-public materials, templates, or written feedback we provide as confidential and for your own use only.
10. Third-Party Links and Content
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as universities, government pages, or scholarship portals. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply our endorsement.
11. Disclaimers
The Site and the Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GradMig disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information on it is complete or current. Immigration and admissions rules change frequently; always confirm current requirements with the relevant official authority.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GradMig, its directors, employees, and Advisors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, savings, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to GradMig for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GradMig and its Advisors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any inaccurate or misleading information you provide to us or to any institution or authority.
14. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Site or the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the current version on the Site. Material changes will take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that point means you accept the updated Terms.
