Canada Graduate Study | Academic Strategy | Student Mentoring

About Me

I am a PhD student in Political Studies at Queen’s University, Canada, with more than five years of experience across academic research, teaching, graduate mentoring, student engagement, and international education. Before beginning my PhD, I completed an M.A. at Queen’s University and a B.A. at the University of Dhaka.

Since 2023, I have served as a Graduate Mentor at Queen’s University, alongside my work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and researcher. These roles have given me direct experience working with students from different academic and cultural backgrounds and understanding the questions, uncertainties, and strategic decisions that often shape the graduate-school journey.

My approach goes beyond simply telling students where to apply. I help students understand their academic profile, identify realistic opportunities, position their experiences effectively, strengthen their application materials, explore funding possibilities, and build a clear graduate-study strategy for Canada.

Having experienced Canadian graduate education as an international student myself, I understand that a successful application is not only about grades. It is about presenting the right combination of academic fit, research interests, experience, communication, and long-term direction.

My goal is simple: turn a graduate-school ambition into a clear, realistic, and competitive academic plan.
